About this programme

Change Delivery is the driving force behind Sky. We’re the team that delivers change, at a pace, in a complex environment. More specifically we take ideas, such as launching a new product or proposition, or changing the way our contact centres and engineers serve our customers and help them become a reality.

We work with every area of the business to bring our technology, content and customer service to millions of customers. Recent projects include the launch of Sky Glass and Sky Stream, as well as rolling out our best Sky Mobile and Sky Broadband services to more customers than ever before.

What you’ll be doing

On this two-year programme, you’ll work at pace on high-profile projects, working with senior decision makers and experts around the business. You’ll feel a huge sense of achievement delivering large scale change for the business, our people and our customers. After two years, you’ll join the team as a fully trained Business Analyst.

Our goal as a Business Analyst in the Project Management and Analysis team is to make things brilliantly easy for our customers, advisors, engineers and operational support teams. We do this by providing business and operational change expertise to projects driven by Technology or Product teams, owning the online and advisor-led customer experience. We lead on projects looking at efficiency, customer care, compliance and supporting our colleagues, from advisors and engineers to logistics planners and retail stores.

What we’re looking for

  • The one essential requirement is that you have an undergraduate degree (or are about to complete one). Our programme is designed to give you all the knowledge and experience you need so it doesn’t matter what your degree is in. We’re much more interested in the passion, drive and talent you’re able to bring to the team.

  • It’s vital that our business analysts have a curious mindset – if you are the sort of person that loves getting into the detail of how things work and is always wanting to know more; the business analysis role will be a great fit for you.

  • You’ll be a natural collaborator. You will love bringing people together and working with them to find all the pieces of the puzzle and delivering a solution that works for everyone. You’ll be bringing some amazing products to the market, so you’ll need to have a passion for delivering excellence for our customers.

  • You’ll be comfortable building and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels and can communicate with confidence. Working with so many people across the business, this is a perfect role to build your personal brand. Overall, you will have a drive and ambition to believe in better – for yourself, your team, the business and our customers.

To be eligible for this role you are required to have the appropriate right to work in the UK by the start date of the programme. Please be aware Sky does not offer sponsorship for this programme.

Application journey

  • Prep hub

This optional step will help you prepare for our application process — and you can access it before you’ve even applied.

  • Application

Time to submit your application on our system. We’ll be asking for your personal details, academic information and everything else that you think would be relevant such as work experience. That’s all there is to it.

If we need to make adjustments to make you feel more comfortable at any stage, please let us know when you apply — we’ll be in touch to discuss.

  • Digital Assessment

Once your application is in, we’ll ask you to complete our immersive digital assessments. They’re mostly situational questions and will also include a video interview.

We understand that you might want to utilise AI to support your preparation for taking the assessments – understanding Sky etc. But we ask that you complete the assessments themselves without the assistance of AI.

  • Assessment centre

For the final assessment stage, we’ll invite you to our bespoke virtual assessment centre. You’ll get the opportunity to impress us in person and get a feel for what it’s really like to work at Sky.

The day could include an individual interview, group discussion or individual exercise. We’ll give you plenty of notice and let you know how best to prepare for the day.

    Business Analyst

My favourite thing about the grad programme was joining the scheme with a bunch of other grads. I think that was the biggest plus point for me. The second was also being able to leave the two-year scheme with a qualification, so I left being a qualified Business Analyst.
